Places to visit in Mexico project.

We did a project in order to learn more about the culture of Mexico and about a few of the places in our book. For the first part of the project, we went through and labeled certain places on a map, such as some states, their capitals, and the populations. In doing this I had learned a lot more about Mexico, along with the different places and cultures. We had compared some of the largest cities in Mexico to some of the larger cities in Texas and the results of the two had shocked me, I had never really known much about Mexico besides what is shown on T.V. The next part of the project was to research ten places in Mexico to visit. Two of the places had to be located in Nayarit, which is where a part of our book took place, and one had to be located in Guadalajara. The rest of the places to visit in Mexico were your choice. This part of the project was really interesting and fun to me because I had gotten to see a bunch of different places in Mexico. Many of the places I had never heard of and really enjoyed being able to read about the places and learn more about the culture of a place I had known so little about. I was surprised to see all the different and beautiful cities, towns, and everything else compared to what I had thought it was. Two of the places I would definitely want to visit would be the underwater museum in Cancun because it would be a great experience and something not everyone has done. I would also love to visit Guadalajara because it just seems to be a beautiful place to see a bunch of sights and get to become immersed in the Mexican culture.
